Argon Industries buys former Dana Corp. plant, will add 79 jobs

Argon Industries Inc. plans to add up to 79 jobs in coming years after it moves into larger space in the former Dana Corp. building in northwest Milwaukee, according to a press release Thursday.

Argon, a contract manufacturer of metal parts for generators, appliances and HVAC equipment, currently leases two buildings in Milwaukee County, but will consolidate into one 128,000-square-foot location that offers more space for expected growth in its work force in the next two years. Argon recently closed on the purchase of the former Dana Corp. building at 11500 W. Brown Deer Road, according to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
